August 11, 2007 - precious baby boy
He
finally arrived! It seems like so long ago I took pictures
of his momma's burgeoning belly, and now he's here,
adorable and very loved. He's two weeks old in these
pictures and such a good baby.
August 11, 2007 - Dance dance danceThe day after
Christine and Jeremy's wedding, I got to do some headshots
for a couple of gorgeous young dancers. We had some fun in
downtown Okotoks, then I took them back to my parents'
farm for some shots on an old VW Beetle (we call him
Rusty) and my dad's corvette.
Amanda has straight hair, Jodi is the curly haired one.
August 10, 2007 - Christine & Jeremy's
wedding
I had the absolute pleasure of shooting
Christine & Jeremy's wedding day August 4. I've gotta say,
I had a blast! The wedding party was so fun to work with,
the parents of the bride and groom were terrific and I
felt very comfortable and welcome. I have a solid set of
proofs off to the printers for Christine and Jeremy to
look at, but for now, here are just a few of my favorites
- and it was hard to narrow it down to just these!

They didn't know it, but I was making them imitate
old-west gunslingers.
I said "Oooh! Look at the junk!" and they said, "You're
going to make us climb on the tires, aren't you?"
I said, "Can we get to those bales over there?" and they
said "You're going to make us climb on the bales, aren't
you?" Yes, yes I was. And they didn't even get dirty doing
it. Rob is so GQ here.

The bride and groom made their getaway by carriage. I love
how everything is black and white.
Everybody look at the cute little girl! (I didn't even
have to prompt them)
Once they got into the flasks, they got silly. :)

Take a walk ... and then come back.
Jeremy knew of this quiet spot in the coulee, where this
old tank of spring water runs year round. Very cool!
This was the original Smith homestead, all kinds of
photographic possibilities, but I loved this collapsing
roof the best.

More smooching. Remember when I did your engagement
pictures and Jeremy said "No kissing!" Ha! I totally won.
It just took a few months, that's all.
