Chuck & Marlie’s Cold Lake engagement session
I heart Cold Lake. It’s such a beautiful and diverse place, with the huge lake, marina, maritime-inspired houses and businesses, military base – and TWO Tim Horton’s.
So, of course, I was more than happy to meet up with Chuck and Marlie in Cold Lake yesterday for their engagement session! Chuck and Marlie are getting married in Cold Lake in the summer of 2010, so we had a blast getting to know each other and scout some possible locations for their wedding photos!
We started off down near the marina …
At this point, it started to rain … so we drove around to find a location where it maybe *wasn’t* raining. These next few are from the provincial park …
The rain seemed to have stopped, so we decided to go back to the marina. And as soon as we got out of the car, it began to POUR. We did a few quick shots anyway!
Once we were thoroughly soaked, we went back to Marlie’s parents beautiful house on the lake for a few indoor pictures while we waited for the rain to stop … I think they make very adorable drowned rats.
And the rain stopped again! So we went into the backyard for some more photos …
How GORGEOUS is this backyard, right? The lake is RIGHT THERE, complete with your own private dock!
