New/old studio, Pt. 2

The frigid temperatures have kinda put a stop to the studio restoration project for awhile, but here’s what it looked like before it got super cold. I tore down the greenhouse (with the help of my sister in law and a couple of sledgehammers, and my 3 year old nephew, Sammy and his trusty baseball bat) and hauled a second heaping grain truck load of garbage out of there.

Here’s the outside now, without the greenhouse. Cuter already, non?

I call this one “greenhouse, after two fat girls with rage issues have been permitted near sledgehammers”

This room will be my meeting room/viewing room. Gross right now, right? And that’s AFTER two heaping grain truck loads of stuff were hauled out!

Check out the wainscotting, the awesome moldings around the doors/windows and the original wood stove!

So – a few more loads of garbage to go – as soon as it becomes less-cold – and then the sweeping/stripping can begin. Then, in the spring, the fun stuff can start! I’m so excited!

It’ll be so awesome when it’s done. That antique stroller will be an awesome prop!
