You may have noticed a distinct lack of blog posts around here lately. All I can say is that it’s been a hell of a month – and I don’t mean that in a positive way at all.

My dear father-in-law went into the hospital on the first Sunday of this month and didn’t come back out. He passed away on the 17th. He was 79 years old. The funeral was on Tuesday.

I won’t talk about it beyond that; I’m talked right out and emotionally drained. I’ve continued to work as much as I was able, but being there to support my husband and my mother-in-law and my daughter has been my priority these past few weeks and will continue to be my priority for the next little while.
