St. Paul, Alberta – Krevenky family
I had the pleasure of photographing the entire Krevenky family in St. Paul on July 18. Lucille and Mark are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, and Lucille wanted family photos to commemorate the milestone. What a great bunch of people! And they were super organized, smiley and cooperative, so we buzzed through their photos and we were done in just half an hour. Amazing!
A note: I don’t usually book anything for the day after a wedding. I like a day to decompress, put my feet up, download my memory cards and back up my files, cuddle my daughter, and then get a sneak preview up for the bride and groom to enjoy. But when Lucille called, very stressed out, because the photographer she had booked ages ago cancelled on her without explanation, I couldn’t say no. I really strongly dislike hearing of someone in my industry who isn’t measuring up to snuff, so I always try to do my best to help the people on the losing end – be it a 50th anniversary photo session, like this one, or a bride and groom whose wedding photos turned out horribly. Gotta make it right!
