Another studio/restoration update

Meeting room. Lino all torn up, second coat of white paint on woodwork, wainscotting and ceiling

Meeting room.

Studio room. Lino torn up, second coat of white paint on everything. The lino stripping was going great until I found a rotten section of wood. Then the stripping stopped, because now I have to rip up at least some of the floor, repair any support beam issues, put down a new subfloor, and then lay laminate.

Studio room. Wall that is outlined in painter’s tape has since been painted a medium grey.

This is the rotten section. Total bummer to not be able to use the original hardwood in this room, but the other rooms will all be the original hardwood, professionally refinished!

The wood in this corner of the meeting room was in really good shape – you can see how beautiful the wood will be when it’s refinished!

Lino ripped out of the storage room.

The stove on the left used to be about 12″ from the wall. In case you were wondering, one very strong, very large woman with a sprained ankle can move a cast iron cooking stove by herself. Not because she wants to do it by herself, but because she has to.
