Halloween Special – details!

Our first annual Halloween special will happen this year!

Saturday, October 29th, at the studio, from 2:00 until 7:00. Bring your kids down in their costumes for a quick photo session and a goodie bag of treats afterwards! 20 minutes for one child, or 30 minutes for two children. $25 for the first child, $15 for each additional child. Vermilion, Alberta – 2011 Portrait Marathons

Reason number #997 … 1968 Dodge Charger!

I keep adding to my million-reasons-why-you-should-hire-me list. Sure, the numbers are totally arbitrary, but hey, THIS reason is pretty darn cool!

I’m happy to show off this car, which I will have unlimited use of for shoots at the studio and within a 100 km radius (thanks Kyle Peterson!). It’s a 1968 Dodge Charger, and if you’d like me to bring it to your session, or use it at your session here at the studio, just give me the heads up and I will be glad to make the arrangements!

I think this car is going to rock for boudoir and grad sessions and maybe even weddings!

I love my mom. She’s the only woman I’ve ever met who can outwork me on a daily basis; and if you’ve been reading along the blog for any length of time, you know how hard I work! My mom is my hero, my role model, and someday, I hope to be able to outwork her. It’s my greatest ambition.

She’s also a loving wife, grandma, sister, aunt and daughter. She’s never too tired to play with her three grandbabies, and she manages to make everything a fun learning opportunity – even something like doing the dishes!

I’ll get all of these up, eventually! A little at a time!

Perennial favorites Lloydminster Co-op Bakery always have a really successful booth. They came armed with packages of information, boxes of cake samples, and delicious treats like chocolate-covered strawberries. Yum! And of course, the beautiful cakes! I love the Co-op ladies!

This cute little cake got to come home with me. How perfect would this be as a smash cake for a baby’s first birthday?

Joanne from The Tipsy Chef always has an amazing booth. I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything at The Tipsy Chef! If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s located behind End of the Roll in Lloydminster.

Simply Fine Sweets from Vegreville was a first-time exhibitor at our show and also a grand prize sponsor. They make incredible cakes and chocolates! Check out these amazing cakes!!

We had a special area for our grooms this year – a place for them to hang out while their lovely brides-to-be checked out all the wedding stuff. They could also enter to win an awesome 42″ Samsung Television from Sound Obsessions AVU. The lucky winner was Kevin Wright, who happens to be one of my 2011 grooms! I was so happy for Kevin & Raquel!
