August 21, 2008 - in the Calgary area? Need photos?

August 20, 2008 - cutie pie baby Jae'ana!

Angie came out to the studio tonight with her super-cute 2.5 month old baby girl, Jae'ana. We got a few minutes of happiness before baby turned cranky, so we're going to try again in September! There were a few cute shots I wanted to share for now, though ...

August 19, 2008 - Aaron, Trisha, Avery and Aidan

I had SO much fun yesterday photographing this gorgeous family at Lakeland College's Vermilion Campus and the Vermilion Provincial Park. Aaron and Trisha are both really involved in the community - Trisha is the principal at Vermilion Elementary School and Aaron is the Athletics Supervisor at Lakeland College, in addition to being the President of the North East Alberta Junior B Hockey League and a volunteer firefighter with the Vermilion Fire Department. I'm sure they both do more for the community, that's just off the top of my head!

I've known both Aaron and Trish for a few years, but this was my first time meeting their awesome kids. Avery and Aidan are just as cool as their parents and were so fun to photograph! They were really into the photos and had great ideas for what we should do next.

I can't wait to photograph you guys again!

We had a super busy, super fun day yesterday photographing families in Elk Point and in Myrnam!

August 16, 2008 - Lindsay, Brian, Trevor, Charlene, Stan and the kids

I had the awesome pleasure of hanging out with the Jacula and Pashulka families today (yes, they are distantly related somehow ... I have no idea what the connection is!) for a three-generation family photo session.

It was great to see you all again and spend some time with you - can't wait to do it again!!

August 13, 2008 - Yay! We're on bride.ca!

I got an e-mail from bride.ca a couple of weeks ago, looking for submissions for "Real Canadian Weddings" - and yesterday we submitted a couple of wedding for their consideration.

One is already up - Suzanne & Scott's July 26th wedding in Barrhead!

Of course, we think EVERY single one of our weddings and couples are amazing - we love our clients! We will definitely be submitting more weddings in the near future, so watch for us regularly on bride.ca!

August 11, 2008 - Vermilion Family Photo Day

I had an awesome day yesterday in Vermilion with the Chambers', Bakers, Lana, Kiyana and James and the Marchands!

I photographed all these families at the beautiful Lakeland College Vermilion campus. It's a gorgeous spot with lots of photographic possibilities in close proximity to each other ... perfect for a photo event like this!

Thanks for coming out everybody - it was great to meet you all!
