I LOVE farm sessions. You may have noticed that about me! I love the friendly people, the variety of backgrounds, and the frequency of which I come across awesome old vehicles! The Fox family was no exception. In fact, they hauled this old blue beauty out onto the front lawn, specifically for family photos. Loved it!

Yannick is the genius who refinished my hardwood floors in the studio last year – so it was great to have him back again, and to meet his wife and daughter!

It’s a plethora of dimples!

Yannick is in the Canadian Forces and has been posted back to Quebec in the fall, so they wanted an “Alberta” picture with cowboy hats and cattle!

We went into the studio for some natural light photos as well …

How freakin’ cute is this family? We met in Vermilion for a quick family session a couple of weeks again, in between rain showers. I had so much fun with these cute little cowboys!

Thursday night was awesome. Good people, kids, horses, dogs, awesome rural location and BBQ – the recipe for a gorgeous family session!

Andrew and Leanne. Andrew has the best smile! Men, take note! I first met these two at the Slim Thorpe Gala when they were pitching in with the bartending, and I liked them immediately. They’re just good people!

My favorite, favorite family ever – Brendan, Kaylie, Holden and Billie. LOVE THEM. Kaylie and I plan the Lloydminster bridal show together, among other projects and of course weddings, so her family is just an extension of my own!

Krista, Casin and Kobie – Kaylie’s twin sister and her two kids! I’d never met Krista before, but of course, I now love her too.

Kobie started playing peek-a-boo. So cute!

I had so much fun running around the Gilchrist family farm near Paradise Valley, AB for Ashley & Ryder’s portraits last week. Ryder is an ADORABLE two year old boy with tons of energy and personality – it was a blast photographing him and his beautiful mom!

What a cool mom to ride a dirt bike with him!

I have done the photos for the Elk Point Soccer Club for the past three years, but I’ve never shared the photos online because I don’t know all of the kids and parents personally. This year, though, I got some photos of a couple of my friends’ kids and I didn’t think they’d mind me sharing!

This is my little buddy Brady. We go Halloweening together every year.

Elk Point, Alberta – Jena & Chad’s wedding

Brrrrrrrr! It was a cold, Cold COLD day yesterday for Jena & Chad’s wedding in Elk Point! But it was beautiful; quintessential Canadian winter weather.

Jena looked absolutely beautiful.

The flower girls, and Chad’s daughters, Heaven and Patience.

Jena was walked down the aisle by her mom and dad, Doug and Donna.

The back of Jena’s dress was gorgeous!

We headed down to the Elk Point arena for some photos ….

And then we headed down to the river and braved the Extreme Windchill Warning – no, I’m not kidding – for some more photos!
