Thursday night was awesome. Good people, kids, horses, dogs, awesome rural location and BBQ – the recipe for a gorgeous family session!

Andrew and Leanne. Andrew has the best smile! Men, take note! I first met these two at the Slim Thorpe Gala when they were pitching in with the bartending, and I liked them immediately. They’re just good people!

My favorite, favorite family ever – Brendan, Kaylie, Holden and Billie. LOVE THEM. Kaylie and I plan the Lloydminster bridal show together, among other projects and of course weddings, so her family is just an extension of my own!

Krista, Casin and Kobie – Kaylie’s twin sister and her two kids! I’d never met Krista before, but of course, I now love her too.

Kobie started playing peek-a-boo. So cute!

Vermilion family photo sessions, Pt. 1

I had two awesome family sessions, two nights in a row, down at the Vermilion Provincial Park. It’s such a beautiful place!! A quiet little piece of Alberta tucked away in Vermilion – we’re lucky to have it!

First up was Heather, Dillon and Jordana on Wednesday …

If you’ve been a visitor to this blog for awhile, these three cuties will look familiar – I’ve shot them twice before!

Jeaninie and her adorable twin boys, Hayden & Tristan, met me in Vermilion for a fun summer session. These are my favorite kind of sessions – a few posed photos, but mostly we play and I capture the moments as I see them happen! And Hayden and Tristan make a lot of memorable moments. They’re such great kids!

Peterson family

My second shoot on June 21 was just outside of Lea Park at the beautiful Peterson family ranch. Unfortunately, it started spitting as I left the studio and was full-out pouring when I got to the Peterson’s about 40 minutes later. So, instead of the planned outdoor shoot, we made do with the living room!
